HY-3000 meteorological balloon

The HY-3000 weather balloon, is one of the more versatile balloon shells we use for stratospheric missions. We usually use it to carry larger loads and with more advanced experimental needs. Weather balloons are used for atmospheric probing by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM). For example, it is the vertical distribution of temperature, atmospheric pressure. We use this data to prepare a flight strategy. On its basis, we can determine the required amount of gas and the possible weight of the capsule itself. For example, when you choose the HY-2000 coating, you now know that it weighs 2000g. In other words, 2,000 grams should be added to the weight of the entire load of our mission. Additionally, we have to add the weight of the capsule with equipment, parachute and rigging. Balloons small They can be used for technical equipment tests, i.e. test flights or sending very light loads, e.g. the Vaisala RS41 radio probe. Balloons medium are used to implement the first ambitious missions. The recommended weight of the load is about 250 g. Balloons large are the ones that allow you to lift loads weighing more than 1000g. This gives us the greatest opportunities to experiment.
